Luther Fry, MD is the founder of Fry Eye Associates. Dr. Fry is dedicated to staying on the cutting edge of the study and practice of ophthalmology by immersing himself in all aspects of research, surgical technique and technological advancements. He is especially talented in evaluating conditions that affect the front part of the eye and performing laser procedures.

Having performed more than 40,000 cataract surgeries during his surgical career, Dr. Fry’s expertise is invaluable, not only to Fry Eye Associate, but also to the field of ophthalmology. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Fry has shared his knowledge and insights at conferences world-wide and given countless lectures.

Originally from Montezuma, Kansas, Dr. Fry returned to Southwest Kansas after completing his surgical training in 1978 to open his ophthalmology practice. He is committed to providing excellent, affordable care to patients and supporting the growth of the community through his many philanthropic endeavors.

In his free time, Dr. Fry enjoys watching surgical videos, spending time with this family and supporting the Hatcher Racing team.
