William Clifford, MD, MBA, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Kansas Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. With over 30 years of experience in comprehensive ophthalmology, Dr. Clifford offers surgical and medical care of cataract, glaucoma and eye surface problems. Fluent in Spanish, he warmly welcomes patients from all backgrounds and with any ocular condition.
Dr. Clifford graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1976 and served in Europe flying the F-15 jet fighter prior to obtaining his medical degree. He finished his surgical training in Oklahoma and spent one year at the prestigious King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 1995, he joined Fry Eye Associates and has been an integral part of the practice and the Garden City community ever since.
In addition to his busy ophthalmology practice, Dr. Clifford is a member of the Kansas House of Representatives. He has been representing the interests and needs of District 122 since 2021.
